2021. Audiovisual installation. Investigation. Work in progress...


Every day, hundreds of scrap dealers take the streets of Barcelona, especially in and around Poblenou, to collect what is no longer of value to many residents. Instead, for them it means the only meal of the day, their tiny savings for their families or a couple of minutes to contact them. Adding the cold of the nights and the intense heat of the days, together with the weight of the junk they carry with them, the routine is arduous and full of physical and political inconveniences.

An interactive audiovisual installation where the viewer is embodied for a day in the life of a scrap dealer, facing a daily routine to earn his bread in the harsh streets of Barcelona.
