Research work that addresses the Bilbao coast in its science and essence. After years of severe industrialization of El Abra, with great impact on the developement of the region, sediments and samples are collected to determine the material quality of the coastline at the time of the work.
The study documents, collects and analyzes the presence of heavy metal contaminants along the beaches. A poetic field-work with a scientific sample-case, photography, and short-film as a result.
